Ulmann-Labs
"Ulmann-Labs" is the home page of me, Bernd Ulmann. I love computers, especally analog computers. I also love to tinker with electronics in general, restoring and repairing classic measurement instruments, I collect analog computers (see https://analogmuseum.org), I am a voracious reader (mostly of mathematical and scientific literature), I play piano, etc.
On these pages you can find various things which might (or might not) be of interest. Here is a list of my publications, some talks, and in the future descriptions of various little and not so little projects.
Why is this domain called "Ulmann-Labs"? Honestly, because my home is a lab - there are many (many!) analog computers, many classic digital computers, things like gamma and alpha spectrometers, a lot of electronic measurement equipment, seismometers, antennas, etc.
As one friend put it: I managed to not grow up and just tinker along, exploring clever circuits, building new things, repairing old things, and just taking care of machines (preferably machines which can compute).
